Bad Boy's E-Series String Trimmer features an innovative 80V brushless motor. This motor is engineered using magnets and electrical currents, not brushes that can wear out over time. Brushless motors are known to produce more power, higher torque, provide longer run time and have a longer overall life. Brushless motors don't generate heat like brushed motors do, making them more efficient. Plus it requires virtually no maintenance. BAD BOY BATTERIES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE
The E-Series String Trimmer uses Bad Boy's universal 80-volt battery system. That means every Bad Boy battery can power any piece of E-Series equipment. Our 80V batteries offer more torque, more performance and most importantly, longer-lasting run time. For example, the String Trimmer comes with a 2.0 Ah battery that delivers up to 45 minutes of run time. The 5.0 Ah battery that comes with the E-Series Push Mower and Backpack Blower has up to 1 hour of run time. A higher “Ah” number does not mean the battery is more powerful, it simply means the battery will run longer before it has to be recharged. And you can always use the battery capacity indicator (BCI) button to see how much power you have left. Pop any of these batteries into your trimmer and you're ready to go.
